These attention-seeking people are at it again. The Rev's daughter Shirley has posted that the WBC are to protest at Ground Zero, NYC, on 11/9. The post allegedly say's all those who died there on 11/9/2001 are in hell and people should accept this as a fact.

The despicable Westboro Baptist Church to target the Foos' show in Kansas City

According to the NME, the Church, who gained notoriety for regularly picketing the funerals of fallen US soldiers, have promised to turn up outside the Foos' show at Kansas City's Sprint Center on 16 September.

According to a statement on the church's protest schedule, they have opted to picket Dave Grohl and co's show because: "The entertainment industry is a microcosm of the people in this doomed nation: hard-hearted, hell-bound, and hedonistic. These people have a platform and should be using it to encourage obedience to God; instead they teach every person who will listen all things contrary to him: fornication, adultery, idolatry, fags."

It continues: "The people in this nation have sinned away their day of grace and have so enraged their God that you are seeing new outpourings of his wrath continually. We will be there to remind you that the day of your destruction is upon you, even as you vainly seek comfort in the frivolities of this life."

More recently, the church picketed Ronnie James Dio's funeral last year.

Possibly. But they do thrive on the publicity. They love people ranting about them; it gives them more of a reason to do what they do.

Foo Fighters serenade Westboro Baptist Church
    Saturday, September 17 2011, 22:50 BST 31
    By Daniel Sperling, Entertainment Reporter

The Foo Fighters have serenaded members of the notorious Westboro Baptist Church protesting their concert in Kansas City, Missouri.

The controversial congregation announced plans earlier this month to picket the Wasting Light band's show at the Sprint Centre over their failure to promote "obedience to God".

In response, Dave Grohl and his bandmates parked up in front of the protesters in a modified truck on Friday and, while dressed in cowboy hats, long wigs and fake moustaches, tormented the anti-gay group by singing their song 'Keep It Clean' and talking about "man-muffin".

"Ladies and gentlemen,God bless America!" Grohl declared during the impromptu set. "Land of the free, home of the brave!

"I don't care if you're black or white or purple or green, whether you're Pennsylvanian or Transylvanian, Lady GaGa or Lady Antebellum, it takes all kinds."

The Foo Fighters were also watched by individuals staging counter-protests against the church, which gained notoriety after picketing the funerals of American soldiers.

They also threatened to protest at the funerals of screen legend Elizabeth Taylor and Jackass star Ryan Dunn.
